Cambashi announces the arrival of a new Director
We're delighted to announce the addition
to our team of Allan Behrens, who joins us this month as a Director.
Those of you that may have known Allan from previous roles, will
be aware of the great breadth of experience and skills he brings
to our team. Allan has been active (and sometimes vocal) within
industry bodies such as the CSF (Computer Suppliers Federation),
and was formerly Vice Chairman of Cadtek Systems limited, a software
and hardware solutions reseller. Prior to Cadtek, Allan worked within
Hewlett Packard's Indirect Channel Organisation. Allan's experience
within end-user, reseller and vendor organisations gives him a unique
perspective of the IT industry that he will no doubt capitalise
on in his role at Cambashi. Allan has asked us to extend his best
wishes to both old friends and new, and can be contacted via his
email allan.behrens@cambashi.com
or at the office 01223 460439.

COFES
2002
The Congress on the Future of Engineering
Software will be held May 2-5, 2002, in Scottsdale, Arizona. COFES
represents a new type of event. Unlike typical trade shows and conferences,
where the emphasis is on selling, COFES is about relationship building,
future forecasting, and one-on-one interaction. COFES is designed
for decision-makers (CEOs, CIOs, CTOs, presidents, vice-presidents,
directors, etc.) from the vendor, user, press, academic, VAR, investment,
consulting, and research communities. The goal of the two-day event
is to bring clarity, vision, and focus to the definition of the
issues facing the engineering software community, and to speculate
about what is just over the horizon. Peter
Thorne of Cambashi will be acting as a host at COFES and would
be delighted to meet you there if you plan to attend.
Other Events
As mentioned previously we also have an events
page on our website. The starred events on the page are those
which are being attended by a Cambashi representative. If you would
like to meet Cambashi at any of these, please email kathy.strachan@cambashi.com
the event and date(s) you are attending and she will arrange
a one-to-one with you and Cambashi.
