Partners in Japan
Mutsuo Hashimoto has
specialised in IT for industry throughout his working career. His
company TecnoLinc has helped a number of companies develop operations
in Japan. He has personal contacts in many large Japanese companies
buying foreign software and is well known to the Japanese companies
who are involved in the development and distribution of software
in the region. TecnoLinc has conducted comparative studies of worldwide
pricing and market size and growth as well as working on several
market entry studies, including the successful introduction of LightWork
Design into the Japanese market. Before funding TecnoLinc he worked
in the factory automation field with Murata. He held service, sales
and marketing positions with Prime Computer Japan (Computervision).
Whilst with Prime Computer Japan he co-operated with the TIPS modelling
group at Hokkaido University to introduce expertise into the products.
He introduced the Medusa 3D faceted modeller, GNC, CADDS and PDGS
to many Japanese companies, including Nissan and Toshiba.
