CATN is a pan-European federation of firms, all of which are specialists
in the manufacturing and engineering industries. It was founded
in 1988 by Cambashi, Gepro (Aachen), MT Consulting (Paris), Databank
Consulting (Milan), CVT Consultores (Madrid) and Stanek Consulting
(Zurich). Today, with offices in most EC countries and the USA,
and an associate company in Japan, CATN employs more than 100 consultants,
including engineers, economists, scientists and managers, whose
research and operations have been systematised to provide consistency
and integrity across international boundaries.
All CATN member companies work to the same high standards, providing
management and marketing consultancy that enable their clients to
achieve sound business success. Each is a leader in its own right.
As a combined force, the complementary services offered by its members
make the CATN federation Europe's foremost group of experts on the
markets IT.
CATN and its member companies

Management consultancy to help manufacturers and engineers make
real improvements in their procedures in order to achieve tangible

and procedures, distribution and logistics management, and technology

Information and analysis for government
Many CATN members provide expert advice to government agencies on
the best and most appropriate applications of IT, and frequently
manage projects for national and European government agencies. They
also provide national contact points for European Commission projects
such as Technologies for Business Processes (TBP) and Integration
in Manufacturing (IiM).
Our Domains of Expertise
We research and maintain Europe's most advanced body of information
on best practice in the production industries, discrete manufacturing,
the process industries, the utilities and conservation. We also
have special experience of leading edge technologies such as geographic
information systems (GIS), integrated engineering systems (IES)
and product modelling.
