Mike Evans (Senior
Partner) is one of Europe's foremost experts on IT for industry.
He works as an independent advisor to leading IT companies and government
agencies world-wide to help understand business expectations and
develop sales and marketing plans to achieve them. In addition,
he is a regular contributor to numerous European, Japanese and American
publications, is a widely respected speaker on the international
conference circuit, as well as lecturing at management colleges
and universities from Ashridge to Warwick. Mike instigated the formation
of the highly successful CATN network in 1988. Prior to forming
Cambashi in 1984, he worked for more than 20 years with computers,
mostly in scientific and engineering applications, including spells
at CAP, the London Stock Exchange and the Cadcentre, and as manager
of a highly successful start-up venture in Japan. He studied engineering
at the University of Cambridge, holds a European Patent for computer
aided shoe design, is a chartered engineer and a member of the British
Computer Society.
Peter Thorne is Director
of Consulting at Cambashi. He is responsible for consulting projects
related to the new product introduction process, e-business, and
other industrial applications of information and communication technologies.
He works closely with IT vendors, providing them with independent
expertise on matching their products and services to real industry
needs. He has applied information technology to engineering and
manufacturing enterprises for more than 20 years, holding development,
marketing and management positions with both user and vendor organisations.
Immediately prior to joining Cambashi in 1996, he headed the UK
arm of a major IT vendor's Engineering Systems Business Unit, which
grew from a small R&D group to a multi-million pound profit
centre under his leadership. He holds a Master of Arts degree in
Natural Sciences and Computer Science from Cambridge University,
is a Chartered Engineer, and a member of the British Computer Society.
Jenny Jacobsberg (Operations
Director) has worked in the computer industry for 40 years, and
is an expert in the technical applications of computers in the construction
and utility industries. She manages some of Cambashi's larger projects
and conducts research into the total world-wide market for computer
applications in industry. Jenny is also responsible for the general
financial and operational management of the Cambashi business. Prior
to joining the company in 1990, she managed the product support
department for McDonnell Douglas' GDS system. She studied Economics
at Edinburgh University.

Allan Behrens (Director)
is a leading voice within the engineering solutions marketplace.
Over the past 20 years his executive and non-executive roles in
the IT industry have covered mergers and acquisitions, business
management and process improvement, sales, marketing and technology.
Allan's role as a Cambashi Director is twofold. He helps end user
companies increase performance by developing practical strategies
for effective application of IT; and assists IT vendors improve
their performance, routes to market and services to their customers.
A frequent contributor to industry publications, Allan represents
both user and vendor communities through his association with numerous
international industry forums and conferences. As past Chairman
of the Engineering Solutions Forum and Vice Chairman of the Computer
Suppliers Federation, Allan has made a significant contribution
to wider and more profitable exploitation of technology within European
manufacturing industry. Initially an applications engineer for embedded
software engineering tools and EDA systems, Allan worked for 9 years
in Hewlett Packard prior to his position as Vice Chairman and co-founder
of one of the largest UK engineering solutions companies. Educated
in Hertfordshire, Allan has an Honours degree in Electrical and
Electronic engineering.
Mary Evans is now a Non
Executive Director, and has been a Director of Cambashi since it
was founded in 1984. Initially she worked part-time as an administrator
before returning to her original career as a teacher. Mary is now
head of a small Primary school near Cambridge. She regularly attends
monthly board meetings and is particularly interested in personnel
and organisational issues.
Edwin Ecob is a principal
consultant with over 20 years' experience in development, sales
and marketing of computer graphics applications for the CAD and
GIS markets and in large-scale enterprise-wide database projects.
Within Cambashi, Edwin covers Enterprise Applications, particularly
ERP, CRM and e-commerce. He specialises in the development of sales
and marketing strategies for IT vendors and is responsible for managing
our larger projects, particularly those with a Sales and Marketing
focus. After graduating, Edwin worked for 10 years as a consultant
in the civil engineering and transportation planning industry, where
he developed an interest in computer graphics. At Applied Research
of Cambridge (ARC) and McDonnell Douglas he was involved in the
development of GDS as a CAD package and later in the marketing of
GDS into the GIS sector. He left ARC in 1989 to head a pan-European
GIS Sales and Marketing Program for Unisys where he developed considerable
experience in the sale and deployment of enterprise-wide applications.
He was educated at the University of Nottingham and has an Honours
Degree in Mathematics.
Bob Brown is a principal
consultant with over 20 years experience in the IT industry gained
in sales, marketing and general management roles. At Cambashi,
Bob is involved with the management of change in sales and marketing,
particularly the impact of the web. He is working on the way
sales will use digital libraries and the design of web design collateral
schemes. Prior to joining Cambashi, Bob ran his own marketing
services and training business for ten years, when he designed,
developed and delivered courses covering sales, marketing and management
topics. He has become increasingly involved with the management
of change in business, with staff development and training issues
and with emerging standards such as ISO14001. Earlier management
positions were as UK general manager and director at Telemetrix
plc, where he established the company in new markets, and as UK
Sales and Marketing Director at Xerox. Bob holds a BSc in
Physics from Southampton University and Post Graduate Certificate
in Education from the University of Wales.

Nick Ballard is a senior
consultant specialising in desktop engineering applications and
their distribution. He is an acknowledged expert on the CAD/CAM
industry, with a particular interest in channel and pricing practice.
He also monitors the sales and financial results of the companies
tracked by Cambashi, and contributes to customer audits and customer
satisfaction projects. Twenty years in the computer industry
have provided Nick with in-depth personal experience and knowledge
of the problems of CAD product development, support and quality
assurance. Before joining Cambashi in 1989, he worked as a
quality assurance engineer with McDonnell Douglas Shape Data.
In the mid 1970s he joined the Cadcentre, where he worked on CAD/CAM
products for the process and nuclear industries, notably PDMS, the
market leading software for plant design. He studied Geography
and Economics in Cambridge.
Dan Roberts is co-author
of "Cambashi Examines Enterprise Applications" and "Ovum
Evaluates ERP", services which analyse the key Enterprise Applications
vendors: their financial performance, product capabilities, service
and future direction. Apart from tracking the leading enterprise
application vendors, he also has a particular interest in e-business
and CRM technologies. Under his guidance, Cambashi won a 1997 SMART
award which has led to the development of software for a new Internet
research service for the IT industry. Dan was involved in a number
of EC-funded research projects and worked on operations research
for supply chain software vendor Kewill Systems plc. He holds an
MA in Natural Sciences from Cambridge University and an MPhil in
Organic Chemistry from the University of East Anglia.

Kathy Strachan is a senior
consultant with a background of over 20 years in the oil industry,
Kathy has specialised in operations geology conducted both in the
office and at the well site, and has been closely involved in geological
information management. She has worked for most of the major oil
companies, including Elf Exploration, Shell and BP. Additionally,
Kathy is involved in Cambashi's marketing activities and organisation
of our annual seminar. Kathy has a BA in Natural Sciences, Geology
from Oxford University and a PG Dip in Information Analysis from
the Robert Gordon University in Aberdeen.
Adam Steenkamp is a consultant
with 6 years experience of the logistics supply chain and procurement
functions in various roles, from the public sector (NHS) to private
sector multinational companies. He also spent time as a project
manager co-ordinating capital works projects for Waverley Council
in Sydney, Australia. During his time at Cambashi, Adam has contributed
to Cambashi's market models and web based training modules. He is
project manager for one of our regular pricing surveys. Adam studied
mechanical design engineering and holds a BEng in Manufacturing
and Management Engineering from Dundee University.
Michael Morein is a consultant with more
than 6 years experience in the field of information technology both
in the service and manufacturing industries. His experience includes
information systems design and analysis, project management and
business and process analysis. He has also gained experience in
information systems implementation and administration, solution
development and managing outsourced development. His knowledge covers
various platforms and database technologies, e-commerce, business
intelligence as well as enterprise systems such as ERP, CRM, and
SCM. Michael holds a B.Sc. in Industrial Engineering specialising
in management of manufacturing from the Ben-Gurion University in
Israel as well as a MBA from the Sauder School of business, University
of British Columbia in Canada.
Aslihan Yener is a research
assistant with Cambashi. She previously worked for one of the biggest
banks in Turkey where she specialised in Project Finance. She then
completed her MA in international Business Economics at Anglia Ruskin
University, Cambridge. She also has a BSc (Hons) in Business Management
from Southeastern University, Washington DC.
David Land is a research assistant with
Cambashi. He gained a BSc (Hons) degree in Economics from The University
of Hull in 2006.
Rachael Allen is an administrator/research
assistant with Cambashi. She has recently completed an MA in Intercultural
Communication in Europe at Anglia Ruskin University, Cambridge.
She also has a BA honours degree in Communication Studies and Spanish
from the same university and a CELTA qualification awarded by Cambridge
University.
Associates
Eldon Allison is a Chartered
Accountant, KPMG-trained, with 25 years business experience; sixteen
in the computer systems sector, but also including management consultancy,
international trading, retail fine art and telecommunications services.
Familiar with the operations and requirements of both UK and US
controlled multinational groups, he has worked in USA, Austria,
Germany, and Netherlands. He has held a number of financial management
positions and he has participated in start-up and fast-growth businesses.
For six years, he was Finance Director of "Medusa" CAD/CAM
vendor Cambridge Interactive Systems, acquired by Computervision.
He worked with HAN Dataport, a successful Austro-German CAD/CAM
group, following its acquisition by Kewill Systems, restructuring
it with Netherlands holding and offshore technology companies. He
works as an independent manager, providing commercial and financial
management services for growing business. He has successfully completed
finance raising for business growth, software development, MBO and
rescue situations. He handles sales administration, agreements,
trademarks and licences, and undertakes assignments including business
planning and new enterprise set-up.
Dr Antony Anderson has
extensive international experience of multidisciplinary industrial
contract research and the application of IT to project based manufacturing
industry. Working for Cambashi, he has carried out feasibility
studies on the industrial uses of superconductivity, an investigation
of the causes of catastrophic failures in electronic generators,
and the development of cost estimating and project management systems
for one-of-a-kind production. For the past 6 years, he has
been registered as an expert with Directorate General III of the
European Commission IT Programme, evaluating proposals and projects
in Integration in Manufacturing (IiM) and Technologies for Business
Processes (TBP). Recent consultancy work has included advice
to German engineering SMEs on the application of the appropriate
information technology, and on the strategic use of multimedia and
the Internet in the north of England. A fluent German and
French speaker, he is an active fellow of the Institution of Electrical
Engineers, and is currently on the editorial advisory board for
Engineering Management Journal and chairman of the IEE Archives
Committee. He is a frequent contributor to the review section
of New Scientist.
Thierry Audet has more than 20
years experience in the PLM industry. He is now running HITEX, his
own consultancy firm whose mission is to assist foreign software
companies to sell their products in France and, in a similar way,
to advise French software vendors on their worldwide business. Prior
to founding HITEX, Thierry worked for more than 15 years at leading
CAD/CAM vendors, including Matra Datavision, where he undertook
technical, sales, marketing and management roles. He has been involved
in international business within Europe, North America and Asia.
Thierry holds a degree from the "Ecole des Arts et Metiers",
one of the top engineering universities in France.
Mike Butcher has over
30 years experience of sales and marketing in the IT industry. He
is Managing Partner of Exclarity, a consultancy helping companies
justify and optimise their marketing communications activities.
Before setting up on his own, Mike was EMEA Marketing Director at
Tivoli Systems where he set up and ran their marketing operation
in Europe. Here he had responsibility for the full marketing mix
including PR, with the challenge of rolling out European programmes
as well as campaigns originating in the USA. Prior to Tivoli, he
held a series of sales, technical and marketing posts in IBM at
both UK and European level. He has first hand experience of large
account sales, sales management, services sales and marketing, systems
assurance and service delivery. It is this breadth of experience
combined with analytical and communications skills that has led
him to focus on optimising marketing communications activities and
developing the ROI case for marketing. He studied engineering at
the University of Cambridge.
Dr. Charles Clarke has
extensive experience in Consulting, particularly in Manufacturing
Industry. He is also a freelance writer and journalist on
CAD/CAM technology and is published monthly in CADCAM Magazine in
the UK. Charles is associated with Random Consulting an independent
consulting company specialising in CAD/CAM and Manufacturing related
projects, including Industrial Design and Prototype Manufacture,
Electronics Design and Specialised Machining for the Formula 1 Racing
Industry. He has been responsible for establishing and supporting
companies in Design Optimisation and Finite Element Analysis in
Europe. Previous roles include Director of the European Application
Information Group at Dataquest and European Mechanical Products
Market Manager for G.E. Calma. His recent experience has been
in European strategic marketing, market research and application
product specification, development and support. Charles has
a BSc degree and a PhD in Structural Engineering from the University
of Leeds in the UK.
John Dwyers work has appeared in
the UKs leading newspapers and industrial magazines for over
30 years. For seven years he was a senior editor at Findlay Publications.
Before that he did a five year stint with the Financial Times as
editor of its newsletter on manufacturing technology.
Now a freelance, he writes for Works Management and other Findlay
titles, for The Manufacturer and other titles owned by Conquest
Business Media, and for magazines published by the Institution of
Engineering and Technology (IET), formerly the Institution of Electrical
Engineers. He also writes a regular opinion column on the IET website.
In May 2002 the Periodical Publishers Association voted him
Business and Professional Columnist of the Year for his Dwyer Dwells
column about industrial issues in The Manufacturer.
Alan Fitzgerald is a partner
of Grove Hall Associates, which specialises in giving Mergers &
Acquisitions advice to IT vendors, particularly those with an industrial
focus. He is a Chartered Engineer and a Fellow of the I.Mech.E.
With an extensive knowledge of the 'systems integration' and IT
industries. Alan has had over 25 years senior management experience
in a range of consulting, operational, sales/marketing and corporate
development roles, with Computervision, Oracle and Syntegra. He
has been closely associated with Cadcam, PDM, ERP and collaborative
working technologies. Prior to founding Grove Hall Associates he
was responsible for IT and e-business acquisitions and commercial
due diligence activities in North America, Europe and the Far East.
Alan has a B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering from City University.

Julie Fraser is a recognized
industry analyst, consultant and marketer, specializing in manufacturing
and distribution strategies and application solutions. Her reputation
and expertise in supply chain, plant floor, integration, and e-business
software solutions has kept her in demand as a leading advisor,
speaker, and consultant. Julie is Principal of Industry Directions
and has 17 years experience as a manufacturing systems industry
advisor. Prior to joining Industry Directions, she was VP Marketing
for Baan Supply Chain Solutions, and Senior Analyst on Manufacturing
Execution Systems and Integration at Advanced Manufacturing Research
(AMR). She was editor-in-chief of the CIM Strategies newsletter
from the mid-80s to the early 90s. Julie has a degree with honours
from Lawrence University in Wisconsin. She is a member of Phi Beta
Kappa, APICS and CASA/SME, and has also served on boards for the
local Massachusetts CASA/SME chapter.
Wolfgang Geist has over 30 years
experience in the IT industry in the engineering, visualisation
and simulation sectors. He is Managing Partner of ConWeb GmbH, a
business development consulting company. The company helps international
companies, which are focused on 3D-computing technologies, to set-up
international sales and distribution networks. Wolfgang has extensive
knowledge of automotive engineering software solutions originating
in Japanese automotive OEMs. Prior to setting up his own company,
Wolfgang worked in various roles, including General Manager, Marketing
and Sales Director, for IT companies with international operations;
e.g. Digital Equipment, Matra Datavision, Silicon Graphics, Cisigraph
and Autodesk.
Brian Gott has more than
40 years' experience in engineering and IT. He has worked in the
UK, North America, Europe and Asia, helping found the Indian CADCAM
industry in Bangalore when on assignment to UNIDO. He
has worked on many of Cambashi's projects with users to develop
economic justifications for advanced IT solutions and contributes
to Cambashi's product marketing projects for suppliers. He
is an acknowledged expert on product data management and electronic
data interchange. He researches the impact of IT applications
on user companies' key success factors. Prior to joining Cambashi,
Brian was managing director of Cambridge Control Limited, a company
specialising in computer tools for control engineers, and was involved
in the European start-up of CDI. He is a former director at
Cadcentre, which he joined in the late 1960s, after working as an
engineer in Canada and the nuclear industries. He is a graduate
of Farnborough and a chartered engineer.
Crispin Gray has 30 years
experience in the hi-tech arena and is considered to be one of the
founders of the 'Cambridge Phenomenon'. His experience covers most
areas of entrepreneurial activity and includes: research; development
of world-leading products; raising finance; management buy-out;
acquisition and disposal; and flotation on the London Stock Exchange.
He has been Managing Director of three companies, Vice President
of a major American multi-national corporation and Chief Executive
of a successful public limited company. He is particularly interested
in corporate strategy in the context of marketing and product development.
Jennifer Hand is director
of Brainsells UK Ltd and works with individuals, teams and organisations
to help them sell the value they add. Her skills include facilitating,
interviewing and writing. Having spent 15 years in the engineering,
construction and IT industries she specialises in covering technical
subjects using everyday language. She is particularly experienced
in creating customer success stories which effectively support sales
staff and can be used to attract interest within the technical and
business media. She also prepares project and best practice case
studies for use within knowledge management programmes. An English
Literature graduate, she is a qualified and experienced teacher
and has an MSc in Public Relations.

Dr Richard Henshell has
a number of part time posts in IT for engineering. For 22
years he was chairman of PAFEC which he founded as a university
spin-off and which was sold to SER AG the German publicly quoted
document management company. He has corporate business experience
of start-up, international representation in many parts of the World,
business growth, raising finance and business sale. In the
field of IT management he has been responsible directly or indirectly
for the management of strategy, software development, marketing,
sales, support and execution of major projects all in an ISO 9001
environment. Technically, Richard Henshell has direct experience
of finite element analysis, CAD/CAM, process planning, document
management and geographical information systems: he has indirect
experience of many other branches of IT applied to engineering and
science. He has served on numerous regional and national committees.
Richard Henshell has an OBE, is a special professor at Nottingham
University, a fellow of the Royal Academy of Engineering, a member
of the British Computer Society and speaks five languages.
Derek Hutchison has over
20 years of extensive commercial experience in Marketing and Consulting
in system and software technologies and product/service development.
Before becoming an independent Consultant, Derek was a Principal
Consultant at QinetiQ plc where he focused on Defence Programme
management, Bid management and transferring defence research into
commercial products, in particular database technology. Derek also
has extensive knowledge in working for and with multinational companies
in a consultancy role producing strategic technical assessments
for future technologies. He has particular strengths in System reengineering
and analysing management operations. Derek's earlier career focused
on management within SMEs, covering both electronic design and software
development. He has a B Sc degree in Electrical Engineering and
a PhD in Electronics from Queen's University Belfast
Bob Landeg has more than 30 years` experience
in the aerospace, defence and IT industries.
After a period of 15 years working on the design and development
of guided weapons for British Aerospace Dynamics, Bob spent 8 years
with British Aerospace Airbus working on the process, organisation
and technology changes associated with new product introduction.
Bob became the first leader of Airbus Concurrent Engineering (ACE),
and then relocated to Airbus Industrie in Toulouse for two years,
as Head of ACE, before joining Hewlett Packard in 2001.
As HP`s Global Aerospace Manager, he pioneered the introduction
of innovative methods of assessing opportunities for HP based on
anticipating events within the aerospace and defence industries.
Within the aerospace and IT communities, he has been recognised
as an expert in aerospace and defence, with particular success in
identifying breakthrough opportunities, focussing on change events
and taking a "system change" view of processes, people,
technology and organisation across whole product lifecycles. Bob
now works as an independent consultant.
Charles Lang has been
involved with computational geometry, computer graphics and CAD/CAM
since the 1960s. In 1965 he founded the Computer-Aided Design Group
at the Computer Laboratory in the University of Cambridge which
became internationally known for its work in computational geometry,
computer graphics, solid modelling, and software components for
CAD/CAM systems. In 1974 he co-founded Shape Data Ltd, which produced
the Romulus modeller. With two colleagues he founded Three-Space
Ltd in 1986 to continue work in 3D computation and its application.
Three-Space originated the ACIS geometric modeller, co-developed
and marketed worldwide in close partnership with Spatial Technology
Inc. After many years involvement with the building of modellers,
ACIS is making possible the realisation of a long-held dream to
have modellers used in applications on every engineer's desk. The
ACIS business has recently been purchased by Dassault Systèmes
of France. Charles is now consulting in the CAD/CAM field, as well
as looking at ways in which Cambridge technology might contribute
more to the environment, conservation and sustainability.
Dick Miller has over 38
years experience in mechanical engineering, business development,
and marketing and sales for engineering automation tools and services.
Following an engineering career with General Motors Corporation,
he was Director of Sales and Marketing for SDRC and Director of
Marketing for Applicon before co-founding and becoming Chief Operating
Officer at Aries Technology. He was Senior VP of Marketing at The
MacNeal-Schwendler Corporation and VP and General Manager of the
DesignSpace Division of ANSYS, Inc. Dick has broad international
experience, having been responsible for international sales and
marketing at Aries Technology and as the CEO of the US subsidiary
of Geometric Software Solutions Ltd., based in Bombay, India. He
has conducted his own business strategy, sales, and marketing consultancy
practice since 1994. He holds both Bachelor's and Master's degrees
in Mechanical Engineering from General Motors Institute (GMI) and
the University of Dayton, respectively. He has conducted over 500
technical and management seminars and is a frequent speaker, panelist,
and writer.
Rod Moulding has over
30 years' experience in manufacturing and logistics, especially
in the process sector. Since 1982 he has held senior consulting,
product management and marketing positions spanning 27 countries
in ERP with JBA, Ross Systems and other vendors and in APS and SCM
with i2 Technologies. As an independent consultant he has
provided system evaluation and marketing consulting for software
vendors as well as user-based international assignments. Rod
is a UK delegate to the European Committee for Standardization (CEN)
Technical Committee on Logistics and a member of BSI Technical Committee
MS/3 (Logistics in Manufacturing and Distribution). He is
an Honorary Fellow of the IOM and a former President, and is currently
Chairman of the IOM's APS Special Interest Group. He is also
a Fellow of the IoLT. Rod, a Durham graduate, is a well-known
conference speaker in the USA, Asia and South Africa as well as
in Europe.
Joel Orr is a consultant,
speaker, and writer, specializing in engineering automation and
computer technologies. He heads Orr Associates International, a
consulting firm. He is a partner in Cyon Research, a publishing
and consulting firm. Orr is also co-founder and past-president of
the NCGA (National Computer Graphics Association) and president
of the Virtual Worlds Society. Autodesk Corporation named Orr a
"Distinguished Fellow," a position he held from 1990 to
1993. In 1997, Bentley Systems made him the "Bentley Engineering
Laureate." He is an editor of EXTRANET NEWS, a weekly email
newsletter. Many Fortune 500 manufacturers see Dr. Orr as a major
resource in the areas of business restructuring, engineering automation,
and the future of technology. Orr, an internationally-known speaker,
is also listed in "Who's Who."

Ralph Seeley has over
30 years experience of IT, gained from both supplier and consumer
perspectives. For much of his career he has worked with, or in,
manufacturing companies where he has been involved in applying IT
to production and supply chain problems, and also to product design.
With Cambashi Ralph has focused on ERP and supply chain markets,
with a special interest in the requirements of evolving enterprise
structures. He is also involved in helping small companies to exploit
IT with Warwick Manufacturing Group. Ralph's earlier career includes
eight years at PA Consulting Group (where he became a principal
consultant) together with significant stints in manufacturing and
software companies. He holds a BSc in Mathematics from London University.
Michael Skidmore has 30
years experience in manufacturing automation and robotics.
His experience in the manufacturing sector has been gained from
a number of senior industry positions including European Director
of Operations for the Industrial Robotics division within Cincinnati
Milacron and Managing Director of Altek Automation - an Industrial
company within the External Businesses group of Aer Lingus.
As well as serving for a period as Chairman of the British Automation
and Robotics Association (BARA) he has worked on specialist consultancy
and advanced automation implementation projects throughout the UK
and Europe, in addition to similar projects in the USA and Japan.
His involvement with the changing patterns of marketing and selling
advanced technology to the manufacturing and engineering sectors
has been gained from over 20 years of selling to both Blue Chip
and international corporations
Dr Geoffrey Tennant has
more than twenty years experience of project, sales and marketing
roles in a variety of industries including automotive, machine tools,
textiles, packaging, construction and financial services. He held
senior engineering positions with the CarnaudMetalbox Group where
he focused on CAD/CAM and KBE system selection and justification
and on business process improvement through automation and the application
of IT. He is currently involved in marketing a generic approach
to risk management for industry and commerce and providing catalyst
services for the management of change. He has degrees in engineering,
is a Chartered Engineer and a member of the Association of MBAs.
Uwe Weissflog
has more than thirty years business experience in Information Technology
and Organizational Development. Prior to co-founding Pathway Guidance
in 2000 he held professional and executive positions at IBM and
SDRC worldwide, including Vice President for Strategic Customer
Relationships. Uwe has authored several organizational change and
other technical papers. His contributions have been recognized in
the United States and Germany, including in ComputerWorld
as one of the top five project managers in the United States in
1998 and Jim Belascos Phoenix 50 award in 1999.
Ian Wallace
has over 25 years in the use of IT in the Public & Private Utilities,
Discrete & Process Manufacturing, and Transportation industries.
He has acted as a key resource to international Management Consulting
companies, Software Systems Suppliers and their Customers.
With specialist skills in Product Lifecycle Management and engineering
asset information management, Ian has been involved with the definition,
design, delivery and implementation of critical engineering business
systems, particularly those demanding significant levels of information
sharing and integration with enterprise resource planning (ERP)
systems such as SAP. He is an SAP Certified Consultant. Prior to
joining Cambashi, Ian ran his own engineering IT consultancy in
Europe and the USA, and has worked for Intergraph Corp., Digital
Equipment Corp., ACT (UK) Ltd., and the Harris Corp. He has been
involved in developing engineering Information Technology architectures
and international standards such as ISO 10303 and 15926, STEP and
EPISTLE. Ian is a member of the Institute of Logistics and Transport
and was educated at the University of Southampton School of Navigation.

Dave Wiseman has a successful
track record in IT with 20 years of commercial experience from sales
through VP Sales & Marketing to CEO of an International software
house. Partly in proprietary mid range and partly in the Open Systems
world, this experience also includes day to day practical experience
of dealing with users, vendors and staff in IT customers and suppliers
and distributors as well as substantial experience dealing with
business financing. Dave has successfully sold $1m+ deals to major
accounts and negotiated significant partnerships. He has run businesses
in the USA, France, Germany and the UK as well as dealing with international
operations and selling to customers all over the world. His core
expertise is developing strategic marketing programs to introduce
new products to market, developing the relationships necessary to
implement and overseeing the marketing and staff training. With
a solid technical base and proven sales & marketing skills Dave
is in a position to assist any IT company seeking to expand its
base of operations or reposition into today's global marketplace.
